How to Install Curtain Rod

Curtains are a decoration that separates the home space from the outside world and are a necessity in home decoration. However, before installing curtains, the installation of curtain rods is particularly critical.

Positioning and marking

First, you need to measure and determine the installation position of the curtain rod, which is usually marked according to the expected position of the support under the curtain. Use a pen to clearly mark the installation positioning line of the support and the specific position line where the hole needs to be punched, laying a solid foundation for subsequent work.

Accurate punching

Drill holes using appropriate tools according to the markings. To ensure stability and safety, the punching depth needs to be carefully controlled. During the punching process, be careful to avoid facilities such as wires and water pipes to prevent accidental damage. After the punching is completed, quickly insert the plastic expansion tube into the hole to prepare for the installation of the support.

Firmly install the rod

Fix the support firmly on the wall, and you may need to use steel wire or other fastening tools to ensure its stability. Then, pass the curtain rod through the ring, and pay attention to leaving one ring at each end unpierced to maintain balance. Gently press the rod into the installed support and carefully adjust it to ensure that the decorative heads at both ends of the rod are equidistant from the wall.

Hanging curtains

Finally, hang the curtains with pre-hooked hooks into the eyelets of the curtain rod in the given order to complete the installation of the curtains and curtain rod.
